Mother’s Day 2025

Our daughter, Talena, sent a beautiful lavender plant, which I adore!  I’ve always loved lavender and plan to plant it soon outdoors near our patio. 

Mother’s Day reminds me of past holidays when Mom was here.  It’s a bittersweet holiday since I still miss her and the fun times we had together.  Being a mother, though, is not dependent on birthing a child, but as much as teaching or influencing a child in the way they should go. It’s investing in their future, giving time and attention to helping them to become their best utilizing all their talents, skills, and personality. 

It’s about sacrifices, love, and making the best of the resources you have to work with to help improve their lives.
