One could say I’ve always been all about “home.”  For as long as I can remember, I loved decorating, crafting, sewing, cooking, but more importantly, I wanted to write.  Reading was and still is a pleasure.  It’s where I can escape to another world, immerse myself in fantasy, romance, and intrigue. 
 
During the last years of designing, writing, photographing, bookkeeping, and maintaining Crochet Memories, I was, in essence, wearing all the hats. I started writing my first book. It was not my first attempt, but the first full story… beginning to end! Writing has become my passion. 
 
Don’t get me wrong—I still love everything about home: decorating, cooking, and traveling. We sold our house in Southern California a few years back and decided to travel in our fifth wheel full-time.   It was the time of our lives!  Traveling across the states, we have now marked off 27 states and enjoyed every minute, even the hiccups that occurred en route.  
 
This phase was twofold: not only did we yearn to travel and see this fantastic country of ours, but we were also seeking a new place to reside. We were blessed to see many national parks, tour lighthouses, go deep into caves, course through the sands of beaches, and climb many high trails with our two fur babies, Marley and Ramsey. 
 
We found our home in North Carolina!  We’ve settled in and are making home improvements as we travel the Northeast to visit places we’ve yet to see! 
 
In the meantime, I’m writing. My newest story is in the works, and I’m editing and revising it while I take courses to improve this fantastic art.
