I’m currently working on a book entitled, “In For a Penny, In For 110 Pounds.” It’s a romantic comedy.

Accidents always seem to follow Elena.  So, it’s unsurprising that these seemingly endless incidents cause further embarrassment when meeting her new client.  With only three months to refurbish a dream home for her client and his fiancée, the challenge is on, but that’s only part of the trouble.  Whether you find her misuse of idioms endearing or annoying, it’s just part of her character. 

Set against the backdrop of Sedona’s beautiful and majestic red rocks, Elena Lamar is conflicted about many things. Seeking happiness, love, and fulfillment in creating the ultimate design for her clients, she finds herself on an emotional roller coaster.  Embroiled in her ex’s nefarious affairs or overcoming her attraction for her new client while dodging his fiancée’s high-handedness, she must come to grips with possibly losing the contract and the man she’s falling in love with.
